My brother is on the end, he is larger in this picture from Thanksgiving Day in 2009. However, he has dropped 60 pounds since then 
There will not be a post from me on the Special Called meeting today. My brother had two open heart surgeries before the age of 40, his birthday January 10, 2013 and he will be 53. Those late night calls are the worse because you know the news is not good. My brother suffered a heart attack and my heart is heavy and broken right now. Surgery is not an option and the next 24 hours is critical because if he does not show brain activity, my sister-in-law has to make a decision that no one likes to make. His survival does not look good this time around and I pray to God I make to St. Louis in time to say goodbye.
I love my community, however, I love my family more.

My thoughts and prayers have been with you and your family. I just wanted to let you know that you were missed at our first meeting as a new board. I never thought I’d have to sit through a meeting without you, much less my first. Please don’t make a habit of it, because I need your input and feedback.
